Hey Everyone,
On the 14/15th of February there will be a two day excursion to Germany for all 1st year TEL students.
On the first day we will leave Delft from the Aula at 7am and head to our destination which will be RWE and their lignite mine.
For the evening we will be staying the night in Köln where we will head out for some food and there will be a chance to have a ‘sensible’ amount of fun before getting an ‘early’ night ready for the next day.
On the second day we will head to Lunen and visit one of the sites where ESI Eurosilo have a large silo installation. We estimate to arrive back in Delft at 6pm on the Friday evening.
The trip is mostly funded by the department and Transportkunde Pandora, however in order for us to offer a more enjoyable trip each student is also required to contribute €35. This contribution makes the trip all-inclusive and so you won’t have any expenses after that. All planned activities and food/drink are covered in the price.
